WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
To simplify, I'm a cowboy's wife, ranch-kid mama, rural living home-maker (hallelujah Amazon Prime!) and traveling photographer capturing the love & life stories of our western culture.
This is where I share my recent weddings and couples.

Once upon a time, on Instagram, Zeb saw a photo of Joren tacking shoes on a horse. And so begins another social media sparked love story. After a few weeks of messaging back and forth, Zeb drove 13 hours to meet her…but Joren said she was already in love before they ever met in person.
It all started because they had a mutual friend and Cole accidentally added (or not, they’re still “discussing” that) Elsie on Snapchat. They started visiting online, and it wasn’t long before Elsie told her mom “I’m going to marry this guy.”
Back in the early days of instagram I started following and loved fellow ranch wife @sderstein! So when she and Rodney came to Santa Fe from Kansas to celebrate their 5th anniversary, I was so tickled that I would get the opportunity to meet them!
When the shoot was over and we were headed back into town, I asked Jacob what it was that made him want to marry Kayla. This is where a lot of guys spout off something jokingly like, “She’s pretty” or “I like her butt.” But instead he got real quiet for a moment, then he started talking about the qualities he loves in her.
After meeting eleven years earlier, Austin had never stopped trying to sweep Katy off her feet. When she finally said she’d date him, he was in the process of moving from Texas back to his home state of Nevada. So she hopped in to help him haul a load north.
She’d met Jesse through mutual friends after moving to Jackson Wyoming and while he’d been hinting at more, she held him at arm’s length. But he waited…oh so gently winning her heart over. Then last August he proposed with the solar eclipse. When she said in awe “Look, it really is a ring!” he held up the ring to the sun and said “Yeah, look at that ring.”
I love how easy going these two are…the way they chose to keep it rustic and simple could not have been more perfect for telling the story of who they are and the life they lead. Aaaaand I think my favorite spot was where we went and shot in the little clearing where they are about to break ground and start building their home together.
Jess is an Ohio country girl who longed for the west. Fresh out of high school, she loaded up her car and started towards Arizona. Along the way she got a job on a large ranch in New Mexico and met Jim, the cowboy in the bunkhouse on the other side of the corrals. Their first date was a campfire on Valentine’s day two years ago.
