WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
To simplify, I'm a cowboy's wife, ranch-kid mama, rural living home-maker (hallelujah Amazon Prime!) and traveling photographer capturing the love & life stories of our western culture.
This is where I share my recent weddings and couples.

His friends gave him heck and said that he wouldn’t be brave enough so say hi, so he hopped up, marched over and interrupted her mid-sentence in a conversation to introduce himself…She thought that was rude.
I knew that getting to photograph them on the ranch outside of Steamboat Springs Colorado was going to be stunning!
When Katy mentioned a river I made…
Gabe had friends tell him he couldn’t buy her love…but letting Reata rope all day at a branding without ever having her work the ground was a start. When she didn’t seem to get the hint he followed up with a friendly facebook message to say thanks for the help that day.
There was a massive storm during Justin & Sarah’s second attempt at their New Mexico ranch engagement session. It was the kind that fills dry dirt tanks in minutes, makes the road slicker than snot and had us sitting in a pickup for hours.
They were both raised in New Mexico and met when attending collage at NMSU in Las Cruces. She was a studious 4.0 student in the front row of the classroom and he was, as she calls him, the “gentle giant” who she had a crush on. I laughed when she said he was oblivious to […]
Both born and raised in the same small town in Pennsylvania, Nolan & Julia met in high school and have been together for 7 years. So while they both already knew that they wanted to share their lives forever, the way Nolan proposed was a complete surprise for Julia!
The wind didn’t keep these two from bringing the heat to their ranch engagement session outside of Santa Rosa. We started with snuggles in the neatest vintage chevy, explored around the old homestead and crawled around the bottom of an really neat canyon that is tucked away on the back of the ranch where Brandon was raise. Then we (as in them) ended by dancing on the back of a pickup under the moon.
Earlier this spring when Maria was visiting from California, Aaron took her horseback into the mountain he’s called home for years and proposed with gorgeous rose-gold ring containing a Morganite stone. The moment I saw it I fell in love but when Maria shared with me the meaning of the stone I about melted.
I love love love authentic southwestern old towns…the kind built out of adobe walls, luminarias everywhere you look, a live band on the plaza and the smell of Mexican Food wafting from every corner. And I love love love when I get to wander cobblestone streets with my couples, finding random allies and stunning doorways to use as the perfect backdrops.
