Well, I just went to share this as an “It’s their wedding week” kinda deal and realized this session never made it to the blog. Which was very disappointing because I’m so in love with the photos from Kristin and Angus’s ranch engagement session outside of Roswell New Mexico. As a disclaimer, this all went down about the time Nelson got himself run over by a bull, broke both legs, and spent some time in the hospital. I was a bit scattered.

It was a really hot and muggy monsoon day that provided a dark overcast sky for us most of the session. Until then end. And then the sun decided to show up and show off in a way that makes me a little bit photographer giddy.

This session contains the oddest (or coolest, you decide) ringshot I’ve ever taken to date. The idea was purely mine and does not reflect the views and style of the couple who had no idea really how crazy their photographer is up until that moment.

Anyway, I’ve got a million things to do to get ready for their wedding this weekend!
