While they are from the Red Bluff CA area (just down the road from Cole & Elsie’s Wedding), we took these engagement pictures in Wickenburg Arizona while they were down here to rope over the New Year. Nelson and I so enjoyed getting to meet them (and some of the family) and can’t wait to celebrate their wedding this summer!

Kolby had been one of her older brother’s good friends and they’d known each other forever. And along the way, they realized what it seemed everyone already knew…they belonged together.

Kolby had ordered her a saddle that had just arrived, and excited to show her he drug her out to the barn one night when she’d arrived home late to show it to her….and propose. Saddles and diamonds, what more could a girl ask for?

Ps. Isn’t the ring beautiful? It was designed with her grandma’s diamonds.
