This classy Texas couple came to Santa Fe to plan their destination wedding at the Loretto Chapel and shoot their engagement session along Canyon Road. 

It was so fun to hear the story of how they met and fell in love, listening to them share moments when they knew they’d found the one. Sarah first knew she had a keeper when, in an attempt to set up a special date, she managed to burn down the faithful old canvas tent (and everything else nearby) that been many cowboying miles with Jimmie. When he found out, rather than being upset, his biggest concern was making sure no one had been hurt trying to put the fire out. The when I asked Jimmie what one thing was that he loved about Sarah he got this sheepish grin and said he loved how “tightly wound” she was…but how she could keep her head when she needed to. 

I am honored that they’ve chosen me to be their wedding photographer and can’t wait for their special day! I know it will be stunning and meaningful!
