I had looked forward to Eric & Nina’s wedding day for a long time and it did not disappoint! These two are just full of smiles that relaxes everyone around them!
It’s monsoon season in New Mexico and I’m told Grants hasn’t looked this green in decades. Which means its been raining a lot! We got rained out of rehearsal but come the day of the wedding it was absolutely perfect. It had rained enough in the days leading up to the wedding that the ranch was just to soft and we couldn’t get up to the Red Rocks like we’d done for their engagement session. I don’t think anyone was complaining one bit! We never cuss the rain in this part of the world!
Pulling together a perfect balance of purple, gray and turquoise Nina created accents and decorations that flowed throughout the day! It was one of those weddings that makes this photographers heart happy…lots of pretties to photograph! Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see who the creative team was!
One of the funnest parts for me was that there was well over a dozen of my previous clients at this wedding! I mean really, what photographer doesn’t love being able to boss people around by name! And everyone knows how to “Touch Noses” and understands there is a method to my madness when I say “Now look at the bride and laugh”. With this bunch I knew it was going to be the party of the year and I so enjoyed getting to see and hug everyone.
The day was filled with sweet and sacred moments, from Eric and Joanna (dog) hanging out before the First Look to the vows that had just about everyone choked up. I know I use the phrase “I was honored” a lot. But really, I was honored to be able to capture the happy memories of this wedding for Eric & Nina.
