This wedding was in my “neighborhood”! In fact, the Adobe Ranch neighbors us to the south and not that far away as the crow flies. My husband tried to talk me into loading my gear onto the four wheeler and going the “back way” over the top of the mountain. That would be a new one. Wedding photographer arrives muddy and windblown with gear strapped to a Polaris. Unfortunately my faith in his 4×4 driving only goes so far and we are talking about the safety of my camera and lenses here. So we took the long way around in the pickup, which is only about 2 hours.
Everything was stunning…I fell in love with the Historic Adobe Ranch Headquarters and saw why Tiffany wouldn’t want to get married anywhere else! The ceremony was overlooking the ranch in the place that had been her favorite spot since she was twelve years old. The ceremony was short, sweet and complete with a recessional Flash Mob to surprise the groom!
Wes & Tiffany’s wedding was everything an authentic ranch wedding should be. Located where the heart is, created with love by family and attended by friends who weren’t afraid to bring their bedrolls, tents and campers…because well its a LONG ways back to town.
Ok. And the Delk band was there. What more could anyone ask for?
I wish Wes & Tiffany a life full of as much love and laughter as I saw and was honored to photograph on their wedding day!
