It’s been a busy season of shooting at spectacular places and meeting amazing people! It’s left me pinching myself to see if this dreamy adventure I’ve been living is true.
The morning of Matt & Sally’s destination engagement session in Telluride Colorado dawned with a fresh skiff of snow and thick fog. It was like walking around in a magical winter wonderland. (Also quite a shock to the system after having been sea-level and 106 degrees just days earlier!)
Both being engineers, Matt and Sally met through work at NASA in Virginia and discovered they had a mutual love for the outdoors, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, camping, and adventure. When Sally took a job in New Mexico, they continued their relationship long distance until Matt could follow. He proposed while the snow was falling on Engineer Mountain outside to Silverton Colorado and they are now planning their wedding to take place in the amid the fall colors of rural Pennsylvania next of year!
We started shooting at the foot of the Bridal Veils Falls, a breathtaking waterfall that cascades 365 feet down the face of sheer mountain into icy blue pools. And we ended by riding the gondola up above Telluride to views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains that were exploding with fall color.
I loved getting to know these two during this laid back; coffee filled engagement session in the snowy, colorful and picturesque mountains of Telluride. Can we go back already?
