We had been looking forward to Paige & Garretts Tabor Ranch Wedding in California for so long. And it was a whirlwind getting there but oh it was worth it!

While Paige’s organization, the venue, and gorgeous details were incredible and enough to make a photographer’s heart burst with joy…my favorite part about Paige & Garret’s wedding day was the people. The level of energy and joy brought by the family, bridal party, and guests spoke volumes about the kind of couple Paige & Garrett are.

Then there was the vendor tribe. What a FUN bunch to come together with to create and capture the day! I was so excited to meet Morningstar Films and oh my gosh the teaser she already posted of the day captured it so perfectly! And there was the warm welcome from Superwoman Tabor Ranch Event Manager Terry…and a special sighing of Lucy the duck when she joined the groomsmen photos. (I thought it was named Ferdinand and Ellen says Lucy…maybe I’m confusing it with the duck in the movie Babe…give me grace, it was like 106 degrees ok.)

But then there was Sara, my second-shooter hero. My typical second shooter (husband) managed to get himself mucked out by a bull and hospitalized right about the time we were supposed to be catching our flight to California together. Wildly Rye Photography was my first call in looking for a second replacement in that part of the country. And I can’t even begin to put into words how much I appreciated her dropping everything to drive down and help me! She did a phenomenal job and I couldn’t have done it without her!

I’m so happy for Paige & Garret and their future together! And I look forward to continuing to watch their lives together on the Five Mile Ranch!
