Redden and Meg first crossed paths when Meg was traveling with her Aunt to a horse show in Iowa. Redden worked for the fairgrounds in Cheynne and helped them find a place to overnight their horses and then showed them around the area. Sometime later when Meg’s Aunt was going back through Redden got Meg’s number from her and they started visiting.
After surviving a summer together in Alaska, Redden knew he’d found the one and last fall took her back to a friend’s ranch in Wyoming where they rode out horseback to the top of a bluff. Meg was perfectly content to enjoy the beautiful view from the back of her horse and totally didn’t understand why Redden kept insisting she get down. Once he talked her down off her horse, he popped the question, and she said yes to forever with him!
Nelson and I so enjoyed working with and getting to know this couple during their engagement session and later over “Mexican Food” (it wasn’t bad for the North but I don’t think there was a green chili in the place.) They are planning their fall wedding where Meg was raised in Central Oregon!
NOW I understand why everyone raves about Central Oregon! Even cold and cloudy it was beautiful!
