Spring weddings in New Mexico can be a bit of a gamble. And the day before Doug & Jacy’s wedding it was windy, cold and pouring rain.  But also in New Mexico, the weather changes drastically from day to day.

And April 9, 2016 it was beautiful spring day for these two to get married!

Surrounded by family and friends, the bride and groom said their vows in the small country Caballo Church outside of Truth or Consequences. On the heels of their ceremony they celebrated their marriage with laughter, dancing and pizza during their red-solo cup reception at the Sierra County Fair Barn. 

I knew Jacy’s family growing up and I was thankful to have been chosen to be their wedding photographer. And it is always so wonderful to see friends and past clients for a quick hug on the sidelines of the wedding day photographer marathon.
