From now on I require hippie (highland) cows at all weddings.
Ok, not really. But once you see the sunset photos with those fluffy grass puppies you’ll see what I mean.
Steven & Sarah’s wedding at their place outside of Mountainair New Mexico was pulled together with DIY love and full of happiness. And a gloriously missing piece was the nasty high winds we’d been experiencing…it ended up being one of the few beautiful days New Mexico had given us in AGES.
Just down the road, Sarah got ready surrounded by her friends at the cutest little airbnb cabin. And she arrived back just in time to load up into Stevens’s old Bronco and drive down the hill to the ceremony.
Undeniably one of my favorite moments of the day was when I was photographing the ceremony I looked over and saw Steven’s grandparents sweetly holding hands.
Nelson and I were honored to get to be a part of Steven & Sarah’s wedding and wish them many years of love and happiness!
Ps. I put together the bridal bouquet. Whatcha think? Should I moonlight as a florist?
