August 13, 2021 was Travis and Kiana’s FOURTH and final wedding date. These two had been through hell and back trying to just get married. In the end, they had a destination wedding at the beautiful Eberley Brooks Events in Lubbock Texas. 

Old traditions and new trends blended together throughout the entire day to create a wedding filled with deep meaning and priceless memories. And Travis has literally won the award of best wedding gift ever. An entire box filled with cards of photos with them together, with reasons he loved her or a special memory written on the back. And we are talking like 150+ cards/pictures. I was floored. (Nelson take note.)

Kiana gave him a beautiful watch and a love letter…but wait until you see his reaction to the groom’s cake when it rolled out. IF there was a competition for who gave the best gift/surprise of the day these two would be at a dead tie. And that’s just another example of how perfectly matched they are!

Weddings can be bitter-sweet when a loved one like Travis’s dad is no longer here on earth to celebrate with us. But I can say I honest to goodness got goosebumps and KNEW that he was down here with us throughout parts of the day.

Nelson and I loved every part of getting to tell the story of Travis & Kiana’s wedding (ESPECIALLY the unreal delicious steak dinner) and we wish them many years of happiness and sushi/steak dates! 

Ps. Also…may they ALWAYS makeout, look at each other and dance together like Kiana’s mama and daddy still do.
