Dear Grammer Nazis. I start this blog about Cole & Erin’s Dolores Colorado Western Wedding with one big fat disclaimer…I’ve worked hard for 5 hours trying to get this blog to load with my wretchedly slow rural internet. And now I’m starving, my family is starving, the dogs are starving and I keep telling them all “Just a minute” while I rush to get this posted. So please do not judge the quality of my spelling, punctuation, and etc.
All the way home from Colorado Nelson and I talked about how much we love what we get to do. Working with couples like Cole & Erin (and their families) is just so much fun and such an honor. And even tho we may have only met once before during the engagement session it always feels like we just got to spend a really special day with FRIENDS.
After the first look in their own horse pasture, we moved to the ceremony and reception at an old railroad line camp along the Dolores River. The spot is the coolest hidden gem you’d never notice from the highway! I loved the path to the river, old barns, and fire pit in the middle of it all!
Ps. I loved the sweetheart table scull, cowhides, succulents, terracotta cake, and all the strands of lights…but who is with me when you saw the repurposed Coors Light box “wedding signage” and knew these were your kinda people?
