Traveling to California for this couple’s ranch engagement was so completely worth it! Besides the fact that Curtis and Lauren are such a handsome couple I was so tickled about the water, green and flowers everywhere! Something this southwest girl doesn’t get to play in very much!
Through a friend of a friend on Instagram, two years ago Curtis saw a picture of Lauren. Determined to meet this gal, he stopped by where he thought she worked whenever he was in the area and bought a rope hoping to bump into her…many times. As the new owner of a pile of ropes he didn’t need, and still having not “bumped” into Lauren, he finally got brave enough to send her a message on social media. The rest is history. I laughed so hard as they told me the story. I wanted to call him an internet creeper…but I couldn’t because Nelson and I had a similar start to our relationship.
These two complement each other so perfectly and made capturing their love such a joy! I am so very honored that they chose me to be their engagement and wedding photographer and I really (REALLY) can’t wait for their wedding day!
