WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
To simplify, I'm a cowboy's wife, ranch-kid mama, rural living home-maker (hallelujah Amazon Prime!) and traveling photographer capturing the love & life stories of our western culture.
This is where I share my recent weddings and couples but also.... everything else. From running a business to the every-day shenanigans of ranch life.
More about me here...
Just like anything else in life, you really don’t know what to expect until you have actually experienced it. First love, first kiss, marriage, morning sickness, contractions…experiences for me that all led up to that moment Paisley Rae Garber entered the world. November 22, 2013 at 11:29 PM. That very first moment, in all honesty, wasn’t all that glamorous as I struggled to keep from passing out while watching the expression of “What the heck is that?!?!?” on my husband’s face when he saw her for the first time.
Then there were the moments that quickly followed. Her first cries. Holding her in my arms as she looked at me. Seeing the expression of absolute love on Nelson’s face as he proudly held her. The tears in my moms eyes. These precious little moments turned into minutes, which then quickly became hours and days. They are going by so so so very fast!
Here are a few of the special moments we have experienced with our beautiful baby girl in the first few months of her life. Everything from poopy diapers to her first ride horseback.
All these new experiences, these priceless moments, have come with big changes in our lives. Yet every single change, small and big, is such a tiny price to pay for what I feel when I hold my daughter.
I am so very grateful to my mom who bravely picked up my big fancy camera and snapped these pictures of us moments after Paisley was delivered.
I am so grateful to be blessed with an AMAZING husband who was with me every step of the way and such a huge help in the first days and weeks!
What do you do when you are a cowboys daughter? Take your newborn pictures on his saddle!
